Brief Summary of what was exposed in classes
The Mean
The mean is obtained by dividing the sum of all data by the number of observations.
Observations: 3, 5, 6, 10
Mean: 24/4 = 6
The Median
In a set of numbers it is the middle number in the set (after the numbers have been arranged from smallest to largest) or, if there is an even number of data, the median is the average of the two middle numbers.
Find the median of the set (2, 5, 8, 11, 16, 21, 30) .
There are 7 numbers in the set, and these are arranged in ascending order. The middle number (the fourth in the list) is 11. Thus, the median is 11.
Personal Conclusions
I learned the basic concepts of statistics which are very important in this subject.
