Topic: Analysis of variables

Objective: To develop a workshop on statistical calculations to reinforce the contents learned in data analysis in one dimension.

Brief Summary of what was exposed in classes

We perform different types of techniques to be able to sort statistical data within a table in order to have a faster access to them. We used dynamic tables to perform this work and we also made some statistical graphs of them.



Personal Conclusions

I learned how to sort a database according to what we are looking for, in order to filter the information and present it in a better way.

Task

We have to solve some problems in some excel sheets.

First we had to put the text code and then execute it. With a specific code we can perform any statistical calculation, such as calculating the median, mean, dispersion or perform a Box and Whiskers plot. Personal Conclusions We learned briefly how to use a software, which will help us a lot to make calculations very fast and it will be more dynamic to do a job. Sared resources: Blogger.com Brief summary of what was exposed in classes. What is a population? A population is the set of elements, indiciduals and objects that have the same characteristics about which we are interested in obtaining conclusions. What is a sample? A sample is a part of the population which is selected for the purpose of obtaining information. Personal conclusions Today's topic seemed quite timely because it helps me determine how I can organize my subject.
