Topic: Redatam 

Objective: General review and revision of INEC's web page to contribute to decision making in the tourism context.

Redatam 

Brief Summary of what was exposed in classes 

We started by reviewing INEC and looked for examples of statistics related to tourism. After some examples and participations, we took some data from INEC to Redatam and were able to perform all kinds of analysis such as a frequency diagram. 




Personal Conclusions

We learned how to use redatam and how we can interpret this data in the field of tourism.

Task

Practising what you have learned.

First we had to put the text code and then execute it. With a specific code we can perform any statistical calculation, such as calculating the median, mean, dispersion or perform a Box and Whiskers plot. Personal Conclusions We learned briefly how to use a software, which will help us a lot to make calculations very fast and it will be more dynamic to do a job. Sared resources: Blogger.com Brief summary of what was exposed in classes. What is a population? A population is the set of elements, indiciduals and objects that have the same characteristics about which we are interested in obtaining conclusions. What is a sample? A sample is a part of the population which is selected for the purpose of obtaining information. Personal conclusions Today's topic seemed quite timely because it helps me determine how I can organize my subject.
